We leverage technology to best serve our clients, who like their vendors, want recovery audits accelerated close to the transaction. To date ATG is the only service provider with near real-time audit capability made possible by a complete redesign around today's high speed Internet.
Advances in procure-to-pay data integrity and the efficiency of internet data transmission enable our web application audit tools to boost efficiency and facilitates our migration to ongoing monthly reviews. In essence, validated amounts owing from vendors are recovered as adjustments to the vendor's next invoice payment. This process creates a win-win scenario for our clients and their vendors. Their money goes back to work sooner and the headaches associated with old audit claims disappear.
ATG goes through a one-time setup to write scripts to configure each of the transaction data tables. Data is then transferred from the client via FTP on scheduled intervals, typically monthly. When received, the data sets are systematically appended into a relational database using pre-configured scripts and maintained in our data warehouse for access by users of the eRecover web audit tool.
As part of the initial setup, transaction data tables are converted, analyzed, and reconfigured for migration into our audit tool. Audit routines are then established based on the supporting data. Each of the audit routines are codified and then accessed through a series of drop down menus within the eRecover audit system for performance during the appropriate audit cycle.
When an audit routine is selected from within eRecover, the application is initiated over the web against configured data stored within the data warehouse. The results then transmit back to eRecover for immediate review by auditors to validate amounts identified as owing. Each audit routine produces a summary report with total amounts owing by vendor. There are a series of drill down reports to research and validate each identified amount owing from within the eRecover system. This greatly enhances efficiency. Once verified, an electronic record is created for each "adjustment" and automatically ports to eResolve and/or to Accounts Payable for recovery as an adjustment to the vendor's sequent invoice.
