Partner / Principal

Rick joined ATG as a partner and is currently the Principal in charge of our Southeastern operations. He has 14 years of accounts payable recovery experience after starting in the industry in 1990. Rick has worked closely with numerous multi-billion dollar retail and commercial clients and has constantly won high praise for his client-focused service delivery approach.

Prior to joining ATG, Rick was Senior Vice President of Operations for the Profit Recovery Group, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s primary accounts in the Southeast directing a group of regionally based audit managers. Rick consistently developed forward thinking business initiatives for his region that enabled them to meet or exceed their company objectives. He joined PRG from Robert Beck & Associates, where he served as Principal of Southeastern operations. In this roll, Rick oversaw all sales and operational activity, personally handling all aspects of client relationship management. Through his hands-on approach, Rick developed this area into one of the company’s largest regions in terms of clients and revenue.

Before entering the Accounts Payable audit recovery industry Rick was President and Chief Operating Officer of United Computer Services, a software development and service provider company. Here Rick developed strategic and operational plans that enabled the company to achieve the goals established by the company’s Board of Directors. His career prior to these included executive positions in procurement and finance (VP, Controller) for a major regional grocery retailer.

Rick holds a BS degree for Auburn University and a CPA for the state of North Carolina. He and his wife, Debra, have two children, three grandchildren and reside in South Carolina.
